Not too long ago, the Zion Market opened up at it's new location on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. This store has slowly become a popular spot to shop for locals in San Diego and it has even gotten mentioned on the radio as an advertisement. Although I didn't hear about the Zion Market until about a year ago, I'm so glad that Jessica has finally taken me there.

To me, the Zion Market is like a Korean version of Seafood City. It is mainly products imported from mostly East Asian countries, but more specifically from Korea. Unfortunately I don't shop there as often since it is a bit of a drive from where I live. But when I do get a chance to visit, I love walking around to see what new products they have.

What's cool about the Zion Market is that it's not just a grocery store, it's more like a mini mall. It has a food court, cosmetic stores, and even a little K-Pop store. You should the excitement in our eyes when we first enter through the sliding doors. We always head straight to K-Pop Fancy to check out any new merchandise. We would be tempted enough to just buy the whole store! However the best part about the Zion Market is that I always learn something new about the Korean culture every time I stop by for a visit.
