If you're craving for a hot bowl of soup on a chilly day, then go to the closest pho restaurant near you.

It was a cold and rainy day and we were both feeling under the weather. We were in desperate need to eat something to warm us up. One minute, we were just having a casual conversation about our food cravings... then BAM! We just went to get ourselves some pho right after school.

We didn't want anything too special, so we found the closest restaurant nearby. It was a quiet little place, and thankfully it wasn't so busy. The service was so fast that we were seated right away and got our food within 10 minutes. The smell of the mint was so refreshing and the soup was so hot that we used the steam to warm up our hands. We got our spoons and took our first sips. The soup was warm that we felt the heat rush through our bodies. It was better when we used our chopsticks to eat the meat and noodles. And don't get us started on the size of the bowls. Although small in size, the soup gets you full so fast that you can barely finish eating it. However this time, we killed our soups since we both went into the restaurants with big appetites. Even though it's such a simple soup, a few ingredients can go a long way.

There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants around San Diego that you should try out. Asian restaurants have slowly been growing in popularity and this delicious soup has suddenly become one of the go-to foods to get when you're in a rush. Now you can find a pho shop at every corner. If you haven't tried pho before, you're definitely missing out.
